Beef stew 

Ok so the jicama isn’t necessary. I tried it for a potato effect and it works well for it but it doesn’t get as tender as a potato. It does have a small crunch to it. 

What you need…

  • 1lb stew meat
  • 1 1/4cup green beans 
  • 1 1/4cup okra 
  • 1 cup jicama diced 
  • 1 can petite diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 2Tbsp Parsley
  • 1tsp Garlic powder
  • 1tsp Basil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder 
  • 1/2tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Rosemary
  • 1 tsp Thyme
  • 2 bay leaves 

How to make it…

  1. Chop your jicama into small pieces 
  2. Now place everything into the crock pot
  3. Cook on low for 7 hours 
  4. Once it’s done divide into 3 servings 

ENJOY 😊  each serving is 1 complete lean and green, .25-.50 condiments 


Meatloaf 

Meatloaf has always been a favorite. 

What you need…

  • 1.5lb ground turkey
  • .5lb ground turkey sausage 
  • 2tbsp parsley
  • 2tsp garlic powder, onion powder,and chili powder 
  • 2tbsp tomato paste 
  • 1 red or green bell pepper
  • 1 stevia packet 
  • 1 TBSP soy sauce
  • 2 Tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 TBSP egg beaters 



How to make it…

  1. Chop your bell pepper 
  2. Now mix everything together!
  3. Place in a baking dish and bake for 50 min on 375°
  4. Now once it’s about 5 min before it’s done make the sauce
  5. Mix 3tbsp tomato paste, 2TBSP Ketchup, a squeeze of steak sauce, a dash of chili powder  
  6. Now take the meatloaf out and carefully drain the liquid… 
  7. Now spread the sauce on top and bake for 10 more min. 


This serves 5! (5oz each) a complete lean and 1.5 condiments when served with 1cup optional green
